Well shit. That is downright impressive...
Don't think anyone in my family has ever had a car go past 200K. Dad's Accord is headed in that direction (193K) but considering he usually drives less than 5k/yr, it'll be a while... 6/19/2007 11:45:40 PM |

my camry had 210 or 211 on it when i let the insurance company total it. you could change the oil and 3 months later it was still clear as new. it would have lasted forever, but they gave me good money for it. 6/19/2007 11:57:16 PM |

My Ford Ranger has 220k and still running strong. I'm shocked anything Ford has ever seen a 2 on that first number and not just fallen apart. 6/20/2007 5:39:16 AM |

there is a guy at work with a 91ish integra, i havent checked the miles on it but you cant tell it isnt brand new. how he keeps hunter green paint spotless all the time is amazing.
Everyone always comments on how he treats the thing better than the ford gt, and viper parked near it. 6/20/2007 8:33:48 AM |

im going for 300k 500k in the saturn, with the hopes they will give me a new Sky to replace it. I think a saturn hitting 300k would be like the beginning of armageddon
[Edited on June 20, 2007 at 10:19 AM. Reason : so apparently there are hundreds of SC2's already in the mid 300K's] 6/20/2007 10:16:06 AM |

It takes a weird breed to get that high in mileage i mean my dad had 3XX,XXX in the ranger but he's a weird breed. A real car guy would have modified the shit out of it by then or bought another car. 6/20/2007 5:47:44 PM |

My parents bought a new Toyota Corolla in 1981. They drove it and gave it to my cousin when he went to college. He gave it back, then my parents gave it to me in college. When I gave the Corolla back to them it had 305,000 miles on it.
We donated it to benefit the American Red Cross. Wish I had kept it. The sentimental value would be worth a ton more than the scrap metal. The guys who came to pick it up had a tow truck. They were surprised when I told them to just crank it up and drive it to the auction. 6/24/2007 11:41:47 PM |
