anyone else notice a change in color with the 10.4.10 patch? i'm wondering where i can get an old version of the color profile (/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays). everything is all wonky now

don't believe i've noticed anything odd... but i think i started using a custom profile a while back so it may not have mattered with mine sorry i can't help much... but i don't think a change was forced to happen?

i've been using the basic "Color LCD" profile... i think since you have your own custom one it remained unaffected. it's just annoying; everything is darker and redder

strange... i think i've found the color profiles on apple's KB before... that'd be the first place to look... that'd get on my nerves too


the KB says something about verifying the color profiles you have installed... have u tried that?

yeah, i initially read that article to help determine that things changed. i was a bit wary about it installing a 3-patch old file, though.

regardless, i really appreciate the help!

haha, no problem. i noticed it was a few patches back as well.. but i doubt it'd be a problem, i think i reverted to those one time without any glitches... hope it helped
