Anyone heard anything about them? They're right around the corner from work and it would be nice to go work the bag and get some lessons after work. They are pricey though so I wanted to find some feedback on them.

probably a longshot

It might not be what you are looking for, they do a lot of MMA stuff and it is actually full contact kickboxing they offer. $55.00/class. But really good lessons, I highly recommend them.

based on my experience, if you are looking to get into boxing seriously, and possibly compete, it will be somewhat expensive.

see if you can get a boxing only membership at fit 24. i got a good rate, but that was because i paid up front, and for like 2 years in advance...im in charlotte now for the summer, but i last went about a month and a half ago. there are a few trainers now, and they are all pretty good.

i havent been to nbs, but from what ive heard they move you along very fast, and pressure you to compete. this may or may not be good depending on how fast you pick it up and if you actually like fighting, but i would bet they would give you a free lesson or two.

^^^^ not sure which class you're referring to, but I pay $45/mo for a class that's offered 6 days a week. it's a good deal.

Let me clarify: $55.00/month/class.

I was referring to Muay Thai Kickboxing, Fitness kickboxing is a little less.

Also, it is VERY possible they raised the rates since I joined.
