The worst thing about Rome's show and really any popular radio show is that the commercial breaks are about 10 minutes long and usually Rome is only actually "on air" about 20 minutes out of the hour.

I miss radio people that actually talk about sports and strategy and dont just try to be "wild and wacky" and controversial... I know I know, ratings, give people what they want etc. But there used to be a guy on late at night, cant remember his name, but he would break down matchups in crazy detail, give his picks on bets etc. Really informative.

The guy knew everything it seemed like.. "oh, the 3rd string QB at Oregon State (first 2 were injured) is a horrible passer when running to his right and Oregon has a great left side DE so I could see that forcing an INT or two and lead to Oregon covering the 8 points" real example, and he was right...


One year he had a caller call in and say he was going to take $5000 a week and bet it on the one pro game and one college game per week that the host picked... he didnt win all of them obviously but by the end of the season the guy was up $100,000

The Morning Sports Page are good sometimes but Celania and Gary Williams can't carry a topic in a bucket. I mean the guy "wants to talk about this" but it takes him until the final hour to get to it.

Cowherd is usually pretty good, he got on my nerves today going over the Tank Williams thing but usually i agree with what he's talking about.

PackMan FTMFW! I love the packman show. The QCB is a dumb nigger, i wish he wasn't on the show but i could listen to packman all day long.
