I am looking to buy a laptop within the next month and was wondering what would be the best choice for the price and where to get the best deal. My range is $800-1300
I am not the most technologically savvy person but would like something with plenty of speed and memory. Going to use it for mainly for school and the occasional video game.
Thanks for any help 7/11/2007 3:39:01 PM |

i think dell and hp are the better of the laptop companies. toshiba from what i've heard lately are really bad. apparently there is a lawsuit regarding the parts melting and causing lots of students to lose their term papers and the like.
look into something with a core 2 duo processor and probably 512MB+ RAM and a decent screen size. check out the HP dv2000t series laptops. also try to look for something with a good battery life 7/11/2007 4:07:21 PM |

Buy one that works... lol
If your looking to buy soon, look at buying during tax free weekend. August 3-5. You are able to be tax free up to 3500 for one computer. There's other items that are tax free during the weekend.
