i am about to accidentally polish off an entire bottle of 2006 Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina. The brand is "El Portillo", and the bottle cost about 10 bucks at Lowe's Foods.
I quickly read up some stuff on Malbec, and apparently its catching on.
ok, i guess the rest of this thread can be wine discussion or whatever 7/12/2007 1:07:33 AM |

I am happy to finally feel justified in my over zealous consumption of 2 buck chuck. Fuck all you haters. 7/12/2007 11:48:22 PM |

I've never been particularly fond of Malbecs.
I had a really good pinot noir the other night. It was Poppy from the Monterey Coast. 7/13/2007 1:57:57 PM |

the only thing worse than a person attempting to make sarcastic statements is when that person making the sarcastic statements actually believes that they are intelligent
been drinking charles shaw longer than you have been allowed to legally drink.
one day when you aren't busy sucking your own cock, you will realize the beauty of a good cheap bottle of wine 7/14/2007 1:04:49 AM |

currently drinking a shiraz from South Australia, Woop Woop Shiraz - 2004, also of the $10 (but highly rated) varietal
i'm on a slight shiraz kick lately, and a huge aussie wine kick (after my recent journey there)
Luckily there are a ton of highly regarded 10-20$ shiraz options that are also highly regarded, at least where i live 7/16/2007 7:52:38 PM |
