hi,

there are 2 rooms for rent in a house in a great location and close to campus. quiet neighborhood, a few blocks behind hillsborough st. at the intersection of kilgore ave and chamberlain st. ive lived in this house a year, and its really been the best living experience ive had while in college, and ive lived in probably 6-7 different places. you will be living with the owner of the house, who keeps to himself. rent is going to be around $400/mo (that includes utils, internet, cable, etc.). i would stay here, but im moving closer to RTP for my work. my room had a good sized closet, and is really huge. i had enough room for a drumset, queen sized bed, desk, multiple drawers, and still had plenty of space.

the neighborhood is awesome, it's completely quiet, great for jogging, etc., there's a big outside basketball court less than a block away, its a straight shot down chamberlain st. a few blocks to class. the downside to the place is that the main room in the front is piled with junk, so it's not really conducive to having people over unless they are just hanging out in your room. if you're the kind of person that just wants a quiet place where you dont have to deal with roommates much and dont need things to be pristine, this place is perfect for you.
