i need to send my comp in to get fixed and want to encrypt all possibly sensitive information on it beforehand
i'm looking for a freeware program that'll encrypt all common areas for sensitive info (browser caches, my docs, etc.) as well as letting me choose areas to encrypt
what are the options out there?

Just delete your browser cache
and use a program like TrueCrypt to create an ecrypted volume (http://www.truecrypt.org) 7/15/2007 12:56:43 PM |

1) Buy External HD 2) Move your shit there 3) Profit 4) Cut a hole in that box 5) Put your junk in that box 6) Have her open that box
But really, an external HD gives you lots of extra space for shit plus a lifeboat for files that you want to backup and gives you security, you can't lose. 7/15/2007 5:05:43 PM |
