One small dip was Chris Columbus going from Home Alone to Only The Lonely.
But then of course he bounced back with Ms Doubtfire, Home Alone 2, and later the first two Harry Potter movies.
I would also call pretty much Tony Scott's entire run after Spy Game. The cuts and zooms in Man on Fire pretty much ruined it for me. 7/17/2007 9:28:14 AM |

^ He did say he was greatly inspired by Robert Altman. Altman might be the best when it comes to the multiple story lines. I think PTA's best movie is Punch Drunk Love.

i saw it seven times at the theater and i'm not sure how many times on dvd.
but i haven't seen it in probably three years.
i actually think i prefer punchdrunk love to magnolia, but that might be just because i've seen it so much less.
