the point is to actually get behind the wheel of a Lotus and drive the pants off of it...

Lotus did the automatic conversion before delivery, as well as installing electric power steering. 7/18/2007 11:18:51 PM |

I think it's kinda funny that a car that is known for driver involvement has removed the driver.

I was on that team, had to quit because I couldn't make the time around work 7/19/2007 12:38:41 AM |

I've seen that thing. Despite the irony of taking the driver out of one of the great driver's cars, it's kinda cool... 7/19/2007 1:00:37 AM |

what is the job? i don't think there are too many jobs in college that will benefit you more than working on this project - unless you are absolutely struggling for cash and really need it - otherwise get a student loan7/19/2007 9:19:35 AM |

I work at merchant's tire. I support myself 100% financially so every minute I can be at work helps. Today is my day off and I think i'm actually about to get ready to go in for 8 hours. I have student loans but I wasn't able to fully defer payment, I have to pay interest while i'm in school. Situation sucks, I really wanted to work on that bad boy. 7/19/2007 1:24:22 PM |

i think you mention working at merchants in every thread you post in 7/19/2007 6:36:09 PM |

Actually i've mentioned it like 4 or 5 times so you can take your snide comments elsewhere. He asked where I work. The only time I mention where I work is when people either ask or are looking for a place to get work done. Grow the hell up, this is the internet. 7/19/2007 10:33:24 PM |

It helps that the Lotus was donated too. Who in their right mind turns down a free Lotus? 7/19/2007 11:31:16 PM |
