i always find animals running across the road and i always decide its my job to save them
Anyway I dont usually pick up 2 of them, and they have have these cute decorated collars so i know they have owners, HOWEVER, they dont have tags. Where should i begin the hunt to find an owner? 7/19/2007 5:15:17 PM |

Huskey named Maverick and a Chow/ Golden named Bullwinkle. They were standing in the middle of Millbrooke road across from shelly lake. Look like they have been running round for a bit 7/19/2007 6:25:52 PM |

After you take them to the vet to have them scanned for chips, you need to contact wake county animal shelter, wake county spca lost and found, and any surrounding county shelters. Then call surrounding vets and ask if any lost dogs meet that description, then leave a description of the dogs with your phone number. After you do that, you can post the dogs (and search for lost dogs) on here:

Next time leave them alone. They could have been on an incredible journey across the country and now, thanks to you, there is a cat left to fend for itself the rest of the way. 7/19/2007 9:50:11 PM |

I do the same thing, props to you Jen. If my pups ever got away from home I'd hope someone like you would find them and do the same! 7/20/2007 3:04:31 AM |

Do what Odie said
I catch strays/wandering dogs all the time. A lot of dogs get out of backyards in my neighborhood and the punks living off trailwood and lineberry love to fly down my street as a shortcut at 50-60+ mph (speed limit is 35) and i've seen a few hit (even 2 hit & runs). I've almost gotten hit a thousand times just trying to back out of my driveway.... grrrr 7/20/2007 7:48:39 PM |

were they both dead? you know, cause the dog fighting apologists like to say its their natural instinct to fight to the death with drugs and sharpened teeth 7/20/2007 9:14:07 PM |
