Downloaded the most recent driver package from ATI for my laptop's FireGL T2. Upon running setup, I get a message saying it cannot find the appropriate hardware.
Way to go, ATI.
Any ideas? 7/22/2007 12:11:37 PM |

AFAIK, all ATI mobile chipsets rely on the system integrator for drivers.
So, go to your manufacturers website and get the drivers there. 7/22/2007 12:38:36 PM |

Are you using XP Media Center Edition? I was annoyed to find out that ATI's latest drivers would not install in media center for the x1400 a while ago. 7/22/2007 1:00:22 PM |

I've also seen this happen if you already have drivers installed for it, go figure. You may need to uninstall the existing drivers first, if you can do so. I had to do this for an entire computer lab once (not fun). Tyler can problably guess which lab I'm referring to. 7/22/2007 3:33:52 PM |

I always got issues like this with my laptop unless I used omega drivers from http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php 7/23/2007 11:55:57 AM |
