All the dozen other threads on this bitch of a class are old, anyone else having a hell of a time with this hw set? I got stuck on 4.11 out of the book and just bypassed it.

I can follow and understand Ro's notes and classes pretty well but the book is on a different level with these problems.

Which problem/homework set are you having trouble with? I had Ro for MAE 435 a couple semesters ago. I will try to help you if I can.

Number 3 now, it seems I can't even understand what the book questions are asking for. 4.11a out of the fifth edition is one of em. Just an explanation/elaboration on where to start would help.
