I would like to set up my own web server on my old HP computer. I'm thinking about using CentOS with no windows manager installed. Ideas? Suggestions? 7/26/2007 4:55:16 PM |

I have an Ubuntu box with XAMPP installed. Makes it a breeze. I've also had good results with Fedora and XAMPP. 7/27/2007 10:26:13 AM |

I second Ubuntu. I have a box with the standard LAMP install that I use as a file, proxy, and web server. Works great, easy to install and maintain. 7/27/2007 10:38:41 AM |
