I am trying to edit my website using contribute and it is a go daddy account. Does anyone know when it ask how do you connect to your webserver if it is a: FTP, SFTP, Local Network, or WEBDAV? I looked on the godaddy site but didn't see anything really of any help.
Thanks 7/29/2007 5:53:00 PM |

it should be ftp to the server IP address. I use godaddy, too, and I've never been able to ftp directly to my domain.

Website tonight accounts do not allow access to third party programs such as contribute and dreamweaver according to go daddy. This is why i couldn't connect with the methods recommended above. The only way to connect to your domain using one of these programs is to buy a hosting account. Just wanted to respond in case someone else was having issues with them. 7/30/2007 8:15:42 AM |
