Ironing. All of my pants have at least 3 creases in each leg because I am completely inept at this simple task. I hate it so much.

washing dishes. I'd much rather cook than wash the dishes.

I hate:

putting clothes up, I can fold
vaccumning
trash
cleaning out cars
doing dishes.

My fiance does all of the above usually. However, he gets away with not having to do the nit picky things that I have to have done (making the bed, dusting the floor boards weekly, cleaning the dishwasher/washing machine)

ya know, i can't think of any chores that i particularly dislike

a lot of times it's a struggle for me to get started on pretty much any chore, but once i get started, i don't mind it so much

cleaning the kitchen

cleaning the bathroom

flipping the mattress

going to the grocery store with my boo (baby, I love you...but there is absolutely no need to contemplate buying every single item on the shelf. Goddamn, just pick a can of food and throw it in the basket >.< . I don't care whether or not I eat tomato paste or tomato sauce. )

#1 most hated chore: cleaning up the kitchen/doing dishes. mom used to make me do it all the time (b/c she hates it too) and i will do everything i can to avoid it.

#2 litter box

#3 trying to fit all of the newly folded laundry back into the dresser

i don't mind vacuuming and i actually like mowing the grass. i'd rather scrub a million bathrooms than clean up the kitchen.

1) Cleaning the tub (the rest of the bathroom really isn't that hard).
2) Sorting through mail, trashing junk mail, paying bills
3) Hanging laundry
4) Picking up, cleaning floors
5) Changing the cat litter

#1 - cleaning the bathroom.
(FYI, as I just found out when moving out, don't ignore hitting the shower with some tilex every so often. If you ignore the grout long enough, it will NOT come clean. That clean shower spray stuff helps a little but is no subsitute.)

#2 - doing dishes. Made all the worse by the fact that the place I lived for the past 3 years didn't have a dishwasher.

#3 - ironing.

Dishes would definitely be up there if I didn't have a dishwasher.

What gets me is that I help with a lot of the chores (dishes, cat litter, bathroom, trash, folding clothes, mowing the lawn), but when it comes time to do some kind of project outside, that ALWAYS falls under "Marshall's Honey-Do List" category. I am not complaining, but damn, putting up the privacy fence in the backyard, that takes 3 weekends of toiling labor doesn't even count as credit toward other chores.

[Edited on August 2, 2007 at 4:37 PM. Reason : ]

^ yeah, me too, at least you have a sense of accomplishment, "oh sweet, now i have a fence"

when you fold clothes, it's like "great, now i have the same fucking clothes"

feeding the dogs, not because they didnt deserve to be fed.... but because they were all the way at the back of our property... and usually i had to feed them (it wasnt my chore) when it was raining or in the middle of the night

something bone chilling about walking in your yard in the middle of the night out in the
middle of nowhere

both pups were stolen around the same time...so i had reason it turned out

Cleaning the tub and ironing (takes me forever to do, 9 out of 10 I just take my shirts and slacks to the dry cleaner).

Folding clothes and putting them away.

I even hung up my clothes (all of them) for about a year just to escape this - too bad hanging them up and putting them away isn't any better

Washing dishes. Apparently so does my gf, because we sure do let them pile up. I will eat off of paper towels to avoid having dishes to wash.
