I blame the coaching staff...not Blackman for the fair catch on the 1. Blackman had just gotten laid the fuck out with a borderline dirty hit to the head and almost didnt get up and walk off the field...then 3 plays later he's in for the punt return? Genius

well, he was all acc on special teams last year and had one of the top national averages for returns so with this new rule he should do lots better

I will say that Blackman does worry me on PUNT returns when the ball is in the air.

On kickoffs though....I'd rather have him back there than anyone in the ACC. We WILL be better this year because of the new rule....we haven't been kicking the ball into the endzone anyway with any consistency past the second game of the season for 3 years with JD pulling 3 jobs at once.
