Uh, dome? It doesn't say anything about that. They are talking about enclosing the stadium as in making it seats all the way around a la Carter-Finley.

He just wants to say he got UNC to spend more $$ on it's football program than Chuck did for us. I wonder how much of that is proposed taxpayer money?

the funny thing is ...something like this was posted weeks ago on PP about Chief Davis using this as a recruiting tool and the UNC Ath Dept has no timetable, no real cost estimate

Well, if they are "enclosing" the stadium but not sure if they are even gong to expand seating capacity it seem a dome is more plausible... i mean what is the point of "bowling" the stadium if you aren't adding seats in the new portions?

...hmm they can barely sell out their 60,000 seat stadium on a sunny day in Chapel Hill.....now it'll still be half empty and fans still leaving at halftime to go munch on fish and chips on Franklin St. hehe.

If i'm a high school recruit, I want to play/practice using the best facilities in the country. If UNC promises you that they will have those facilties by the time you graduate, it might make you commit. Even if they're just in development
