i love this guy (no homo)
he was just on espn radio and i caught a few minutes of it...he said his on-field play in the upcoming season was going to be the same, but instead of last year when he was kind of all business, he said he is going to go back more to having fun like he did in 2005..specifically he mentioned he was going to call out opponents (i'm guessing 2ndaries or individual d-backs) and he said he had a celebration planned for all 16 weeks and it was important for him to score a touchdown in all 16 weeks...he also said that if he got into the endzone in their monday night opener, that his celebration would be talked about with the same importance as barry bonds' 756th hahaha cant wait] 8/10/2007 2:33:52 PM |

I love him too (no homo). Our 2nd round draft pick just tore his acl last night, so I was kinda bummed, but it's good to see my favorite player is still in good spirits and will get back to celebrating. 8/10/2007 2:38:04 PM |

No one has yet adapted my famous "Sunday Morning Dump" Celebration where they squat in the endzone and pretend they're reading the paper, then slowly push the football between their legs until it plops out under their ass.
Perhaps Ocho Cinco will surprise me. 8/10/2007 2:41:39 PM |

Since you can't lynch blacks anymore, now you can just complain about their touchdown celebrations. 8/11/2007 12:26:17 AM |

CAINT STAIND THAT DADGUM BANGUL RESEEVER
the people that hate chad johnson are those old guys in the aviators, hat pulled tight over uncut hair thats only long on the sides, mustached, with the blood capillaries in their nose showing from too many years of smoking, bratwurst, and yelling - all the while their leathery skin and gravelly voices scare children and keep every ex-wife as far away from them as possible. They take blood pressure medication because football allows them to escape their otherwise droll lives, and they take it so seriously that they don't live past 60... which is okay, because someone has to die to free up season tickets so the next generation of these "fans" can come in and take their place as complete shitheads that hurt the sport they claim to love so much. 8/11/2007 10:12:36 AM |

^^I'm not sure that's 100% true. I'm not real big on ocho cinco, but I can see his appeal. I tihnk some people would just rather he show a bit of sportsmanship... anyway... continue the argument!! 8/11/2007 11:28:51 AM |

I hate celebration rules. It is just a game. Celebrating makes an entertaining game even more entertaining. 8/11/2007 11:40:24 AM |

As long as the celebration is quick and hillarious and doesnt involve the whole team running onto the field before the game is over its ok by me. 8/11/2007 11:44:16 AM |

Dear Ocho Cinco,
You've got a fuckton more work to do before you're considered for the Hall of Fame.
Get on it chief.

if he keeps getting 1000 yard seasons he'll make it
i do hope he's got some better celebrations...that one was original but too much buildup and not enough delivery...they should just tape it during the field goal and then show it instead of showing him walking all the way to the sidelines to get his props 9/11/2007 11:28:32 PM |

yeah I don't think anyone would have complained about the celebration if this were 2 years ago and he did it in the end zone right after scoring
