Haha imagine being this woman and having your picture in every single car magazine. If only she went with a contract that paid per photo placement!
Humor aside, does anyone recommend a particular brand? If you do have these do you notice if it increases or decreases wind noise?
How about the one that installs on the tops of sunroofs?

i've got vent shade on my f350. i don't notice any wind noise, but then it is a diesel so it'd have to be some loud wind. 8/15/2007 2:54:51 PM |

Ventshade or Trail fx(off brand made by ventshade). That ad is for weathertechs which are twice the price and not worth it. Make sure to go with exterior tape ones, inside tapes suck balls. Ventshade makes a nice sunroof one too. 8/15/2007 4:21:52 PM |

Why?
Ventshade makes some decent in-channel ones too. I guess it's really up to you as to whether or not you want to tape something to your car. Personally, I hate the tape method. The in-channel ones look a lot cleaner too.8/16/2007 9:20:54 AM |

^^The ventshade ones are poorly designed, they come unstuck and you end up rolling window up and cracking them. They arent thin enough to use in the channel. 8/16/2007 11:17:13 AM |

You can crack your windows a good 3"-4" without worrying about rain coming in. Good for when it's hella hot outside and you want to leave your windows down, but you don't want to have to put them up every time it rains. I guess the same holds true when you're driving in the rain if your car doesn't have A/C.8/16/2007 12:49:35 PM |

^^ I see what you mean. Those weathertechs are better, and I believe ventshade makes a more expensive set that doesn't use tape in the channel, like the weathertechs. 8/16/2007 1:04:06 PM |

Ventshades attepmt at tapeless failed miserably and only lasted about 3-4 months, they all came out and cracked. 8/16/2007 5:14:15 PM |
