I have my laptop hooked up to another monitor which works fine except when i play media files like windows media player. Whenever i click on these files, the monitor automatically switches to full screen. how can i stop it from doing this?? 8/22/2007 12:24:29 AM |

do you only want your monitor to display content on part of the screen?
Do you like having an empty dark area on your monitor so that you don't waste pixels?
Are you the type of dude who gets agitated when your hard drive gets like 25% full? 8/22/2007 6:47:58 AM |

make sure theatre mode isn't turned on (assuming the laptop has an ATI card).. also you can probably do a Fn-F8(whatever key on the laptop keyboard has the monitor icon) to turn off the laptop lcd and make the monitor primary. 8/22/2007 6:27:27 PM |
