My student ticket says General Admission for the section. I know that it is General Admission within your assigned section, but where, actually, is the General Admission section? I looked on the student seating chart on the website, but there was no section labeled as GA. Just want a heads up as to where I'll be sitting for the game. Thanks. 8/26/2007 11:59:05 AM |

Last year it went like this
The first sections that are opened for students are 7 & 8. Once those are filled, they go to the South Endzone, then North Endzone, then finally 14 & 15 https://ticketreturn.solidspace.com/ncsu/ClientFiles/NCSU/Uploads/student%20map.JPG

Where can you find this info online? It's not easily obtainable on the ticket website. What time do the gates open for students? 8/26/2007 12:06:04 PM |

I had the SEZ and NEZ confused. It is now corrected on my previous post: 7/8, SEZ, NEZ, 14/15
Quote : | "In short, the proposed plan makes all student sections General Admission, meaning that no one will know what section they sit in until they get to the stadium. Seating will be determined by a student's position in line at the game: the first 2,600 people get seats in the most desirable spots (sections seven and eight) while seating to the last group of arrivals will be in the nosebleeds (section 14 and 15.) Students will be given a stamp based on what section they sit in so that no one will be able to sneak in and overcrowd the area." |

I believe the gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. you'll want to get there earlier than that if you want a good seat since it's basically first come first serve. When you get there, they'll stamp your hand and ticket with your sections as they've said. This prevents other people from getting into the section. Your hand and the stamp on the ticket must match.
on a side note, I've seen the south endzone feeling up well before 7/8 is full. maybe it's just that a lot of people go in, get their hand/ticket stamped and then get a passout to go back and tailgate. who knows. They've also moved the band to the south endzone.

My freshman year was the last year they had the tickets that you went and picked up at Reynolds, just gave them IDs to get them. If we have to go to Reynolds anyway for parking passes, I really wish Athletics would go back to printing their own tickets.
It won't happen because Athletics is too cheap to do this. And I hope they know what image they're setting for the current students. When it comes time when I am an alum, I'll be damned if I give a cent to Tom Stafford 8/26/2007 12:25:39 PM |

I like the online system... it is quite convenient, and I've never had a problem getting a ticket. 8/26/2007 12:38:36 PM |

sad to say, but they made this to get people in their seats at kickoff but then those of us who realized sitting in 14/15 really isn't even close to being bad and has a better view realized we might as well wait till the last second to go in to avoid the nez because it straight up sucks. So really it didn't even help but to fill up the 6/7/8 and another sad thing is I know people who will be in sections 7 and 8 and WONT have to go in like 2 hours early. If I may ask anyone here who does that, why exactly do you go in that early and what do you do for all that time? 8/26/2007 4:10:30 PM |

no they didn't, they made this so you couldn't print out 50 of the same section 7 ticket and overcrowd the good sections to the point where people are pissing in the stands so that they don't have to leave to go to the bathroom, b/c they can't get back in.8/26/2007 4:17:26 PM |
