Does anyone else have a problem with firefox freezing up, and giving you the 'not responding' deal when using it on Microsoft Vista? if so, how so you fix it. 8/31/2007 8:41:17 AM |

it will load at start-up, when changing sites, and when clicking links......so pretty much at any point in time. and I have had a chance to mess with anything, I've had the computer for about 2 weeks. 8/31/2007 11:25:18 AM |

You're saying that the entire computer is freezing up, or just the application?
[Edited on September 6, 2007 at 9:44 AM. Reason : Oh, and Dell can't and won't fix that problem short of them telling you to use the Restore disks] 9/6/2007 9:44:11 AM |

I had this exact same problem on my brand new dell I got back in January.
I fixed the problem by uninstalling Vista. 9/6/2007 9:45:45 AM |

That happened to me ALL the time except it was in XP.
Random versions of Mozilla would completely freeze my system if I stopped a page load or X'd a tab during a page load. I ended up switching to IE7 9/6/2007 10:07:27 AM |
