I injured my shoulder playing soccer about 5 weeks ago and have a prescription for physical therapy. It was caused by an awkward dive trying to save the ball. There is no damage to any of the four rotator cuff tissues. It's something deeper that is the problem: either bursitis or a minute fracture says the doc at the Duke Sports Medicine Clinic. Anyways if someone can recommend me a doctor/PT (one that takes BCBSNC which I'm assuming won't be a problem) I would greatly appreciate it. 9/4/2007 12:12:16 AM |

I should add that they didn't give me meds...I went in once a week for a few months and every other session i'd get prescribed a new set of exercises to do at home in addition to what i already had to do. 9/4/2007 1:13:17 PM |
