Is this for an immediate start? I might be interested in submitting a resume but am currently living in Houston and won't be moving back to Raleigh until early December.

That's a lot to ask for for only 50K. Sounds like a start up company.

That job doesn't sound too complex to me for the pay but I also am not familiar with SQL.

SQL is the most basic language i've ever programmed in. if someone has some experience in another language they could pick up the SQL needed to do 90% of this job in under a week.

I'm qualified for this. Do you know if they would consider a part-timer until May?

i'm pretty sure they would (as long as you could do at least 20hrs per week)

please email your resume and we'll be in touch.

As I mentioned above, if anyones interested working this job part time, send in your resume and indicate that you're interested in working part time.

Its a short walk from the engineering buildings on centennial campus and they are very flexible with your hours. You can basically write your own schedule as long as you're here at some point (even if just for a couple hours) all/most days.

yeah the atmosphere is amazing. very flexible, very low stress, and the best people you'll ever work for.

ntm the person in this role would be the entire IT department for an agency of 80+ people and 9-10 locations so thats a fair amount of responsibility for a somewhat entry level position....though they might only spend 20% of their time doing standard IT suff, much more doing the SQL/Web Application type stuff.

oh, i can do the job, i think...and i'd MUCH rather work for a non-profit than just about anyone (at least i feel like i'm accomplishing something worthwhile)...BUT, the university has invested a good deal of money in training me over the past few months, and free grad school is a huge perk

seriously, though, i find myself thinking about this job quite a bit

yeah i'm sure free grad school is nice and all...

but this organization gives out food to the poor (i think they're actually the largest charitable provoder of food in wake county), has perscription assitance for the elderly, provides counseling, family support, employment assistance etc. And the web-based .net system you'd be managing would track the services provided to the most needy among us...and the better the system works, the more money the agency gets via grants to help more people. where else could you use your technicial skills to have a more direct impact on peoples lives?

Send in a resume. Write you own schedule. part time or full time, your choice

I'm learning SQL now and it really isn't that bad. Haven't tried asp yet. too many languages, not enough time. I remembered in high school I put down C++ as my foreign language... lol
