Damage to the rear quarter panel on an 07 Z71, about 1.5 feet long, and the dent is about 2 inches in.

I will post pics later, but was quoted for about 1333.xx for the repair.

Just would like to confirm this price is in the ball park of where it should be.

Thanks

My bet is that it's pretty close.

Take a look at the itemization. Does it include panel replacement? Should also include the labor for removing and installing the panel, body prep, painting, and blending into the surrounding areas.

Though the dent may not LOOK that bad, keep in mind that most manufacturer-authorized repairs specify replacement of the body panel if any significant distortion of the panel is present. That includes any creasing or stretching of the metal (which occurs in all but the mildest dents). Working a panel with a dent puller, tapping hammers, dollies, and finishing with body plastic is a very time-intensive operation, and the results are often not perfect. It's much simpler to replace the panel, and the labor is a lot easier to calculate (because the operation doesn't have nearly as many variables as far as time and finishing to spec goes).

Anyone had good experiences with Cary Collision Center?

Keep in mind, what I am looking for is cheap.

Pics are coming.

You drive an '07 Z-71 but you want a cheap repair...You will reget that once it look like junk.

That said, the sheet metal on the bed of the new GM trucks is real thin, it pretty much has to be replaced if it gets dented. I would reccomend RJ & G on Western, they seem to know whats goin on.

If you owe money on it, then you really should get it done right, not just cheap. For one, you're required to repair to specifications any collision damage so as to maintain the collateral value of the vehicle. That's why you're required to carry collision insurance on a vehicle on which a financial institution has a lien.

The other car is an 03 Ford Taurus

Taurus doesn't seem to have any real damage, except for the paint. Ideas on the repair cost?

whatever u do dont replace the bedside for that, i believe zx and everyone else was thinking a dent on the actual bed, not that useless shit supported by 1/4" rod or less
get that piece from the lights down to the fender well off of a junkyard truck or
sawzall it below the lights/body line and get a real bumper
