That craphole has been a lot better atmosphere the last 2 games than our craphole has. Hopefully we can start winning & get it going...but the fans there have really been crazy for UNC & S.Miss.

...because I don't think ECU is getting as fired up for anyone, other than NCSU, than UNC and Southern Miss.

for ECU to bitch as much as they do to get UNC to come to Greenville, I seriously did not think the crowd was that good. It got loud towards the end, but other than that nothing special and I guess I'm used to being in student sections where the students stand the whole time. Plus, there was a whole section in the upper deck next to the jumbo-tron that was empty

As a current graduate student at ECU and an NCSU alumni (I know I’m just here for their west campus of medicine), I will say the ECU atmosphere is absolutely GOD awful compared to NC States... i mean there is no comparison. You are right about the crowd being loud though; too bad it's when ECU (the home team) is on offense.

Well last year at the NCSU/ECU baseball game and yelled, "red" during the national anthem and had several people trying to fight me. Although there were more of them than me, I was with my friends from ECU and the 2 that weigh over 300 lbs were ready to start fighting the other ECU fans. At the ECU/UNC fball game I saw several little arguments involving people wearing UNC shirts... but with all that being said I will be sitting in the ECU student section, with my Pirate Club ID and wearing my NC State shirt.

I'm sure nobody said anything about it because they were not playing State at the time. I'm not terribly worried about someone trying to start a fight, I just don't want to get spit on or have shit thrown at me all game. Unfortunately I won't be with 300 pound guys either, just a girl.

I might be going to this game too, but it'd either be with my sister and whatever girls/guys she had or this other pack of girls/few guys (no 300 pounders) in the ECU student section. So yea, anything being thrown or spit at us State fans?

Don't they make a purple NCSU shirt? lol

Also, how do ECU students get tickets for games? Is it $50 for them to buy a guest ticket?

edit: I'm asking here before I ask my ECU peeps, my sister has never been to a game and I'm waiting before hitting up the other group.
