USF is ranked like 19th still. No way they make the MNC game even if they win out. I tink they are the 4th best team in the Big East behind WVU and Rutgers... and also Cincy (damn good defense and a solid 2 QB system).

Considering that two out of Oklahoma, USC, and the winner of the UF/LSU will go undefeated, it doesn't really matter if WVU goes undefeated. They will not play in the national championship game.

Texas is not going undefeated, but Oklahoma has yet to be even remotely challenged. Did you see what they did to Miami? The same Miami team that smoked a ranked Texas AM team??

Texas or OU has a good chance to run it... that conference is so weak that really they are far and away the best 2 with OU being much better, at this point, than Texas.

LSU will likely lose a game and Florida too... It's so hard to run that gauntlet and with the Big East being much stronger than in the past, there is no way a 1 loss SEC team gets in over a no loss Big East team.

USC or Cal will be undefeated too. My best guess is a Big XII - Pac 10 Championship game to be honest...

Cincy, USF, Louisville and Rutgers can all beat WVU on any given night... and one of them likely will..

Going into last weekend, I knew the top 4 teams in no particular order were Florida, LSU, Oklahoma and USC. Florida had a scare so we'll see about them. But after watching the games this past weekend, I think WVU is the 5th best team in the nation. I think they're better than they were the last couple years. Still Louisville's losses have hurt the Big East's national reputation so if two of OU, USC, LSU go undefeated, I'm sure they'd get there first. WVU needs to worry about winning week to week though. This game could be close and Rutgers will probably play them close as well.

nobody will beat LSU at home, for WVU fans, I'd find out when LSU plays on the road in the SEC (just 3 more since MSU has already been played) to see if they might lose. USC will not lose, sorry, in LA, VA, PA, or anywhere. WVU will likely get it handed to them by USF. USF undoubtedly was overlooking the Heels in anticipation of WVU and still laid a thumping on them, I'd expect USF's best effort of the season on Friday.
