I used to have something called an action replay max for my xbox, which allowed me to download and save current rosters for games from the net onto a memory card and use it with the xbox.

Is the xbox transfer kit for the 360 essentially the same thing? Are there any other products for the 360 that would do the same tasks as my old action replay max?

There's a Datel Memory Transfer kit for the 360 that allows you to plug your memory card in and transfer stuff. I think you can get it for less than $15. http://us.codejunkies.com/news_reviews.asp?c=GB&cr=&cs=&r=0&l=&p=8&i=8957&s=8

I bought an Xport instead which allows you to just attach your hard drive to your computer and transfer files. I bought one from ebay for about $40 which is less than a memory card and the datel transfer kit. This one also allows you to connect a memory card also.
