This is the ultimate bed and space saver. It incorporates a bed a dinner table cabinets shelving and is only 18 inches thick! I built this murphy bed about 7 months ago for my small studio apartment so I would have more living space. If you are not familiar with a murphy bed please look at the pictures. It cost me about $300 in materials to build. The pictures are of the bare wood but it is now painted a dark cream/beige color. It is about 95% painted. I never painted the cabinet doors or put them back on. I am moving into a new town house with plenty of space so I will not be needing it anymore.
