is he playing with Elvis Costello on that show? If so, you are in for a treat. 9/26/2007 11:43:10 AM |

Saw Dylan (10th time seeing him) and Costello on Sunday in Clemson. It was a great concert. Elvis Costello was very engaging... talked a lot with the audience, got us to participate, etc. He played some hits (Allison; Peace, Love, and Understanding; Victoria). Dylan was good as always. It was great to hear the new songs performed live. However, I've come to the conclusion that you have to be a pretty big fan to really enjoy him at this point. Minor fans or people who are more luke-warm always complain about his voice and say his songs are "unrecognizeable" (I don't agree with this at all; he's changed them up some, but you can always hear something familiar in them). 9/26/2007 4:59:38 PM |

^Agreed. When I saw Dylan a couple years ago, it wasn't the kind of thing that would only be considered a good show by a big fan.
He didn't talk to the crowd at all, just played, and made some definite changes to songs. I was enthralled but I'm a huge Dylan fan... 9/26/2007 5:20:31 PM |
