I'm starting distance ed grad school in January...just when I thought school was over, but oh well NAVAIR is paying for it

I'm struggling with problem number 4 on the homework. The only buckling equations I find are the critical load ones.

I am a distance student, but would greatly appreciate a study group if anyone is interested in an on-line version.
