I learned to ride on a nighthawk but I now have a cruiser and would rather have a 1/2 shell helmet instead of continue wearing the full face. anyone have a good recommendation on what 1/2 shell helmet I should buy? I'm not trying to break the bank either.

My best advice is to try on everything. Helmets are all different shapes, and you will not know if one is going to give you a headache or block your peripheral vision until you try a bunch on. Pick a style you can live with and then go around putting them on.

With a half helmet, you don't have much to worry about fit-wise, but as a person who still has a face after some nasty, nasty crashes, get a full face.
