Anyone work at IBM and want to get me a laptop on the cheap?
we can work out some sort of payment, if your discount rocks.

the way ibm and lenovo's (ibm doesn't make the laptops anymore...) discount works is that it's for friends and family also so that you can order it on your own without the employee doing anything other than letting you use their serial # and last name - i think the last time i checked you could get 25 laptops/desktops per year
that said you should find someone that will consider you enough of a friend to give you their information 10/2/2007 5:34:07 PM |

there is no average -lenovo offers a small % discount on everything and then there are typically 2-3 models that have a much larger percentage off - the deals change almost monthly 10/2/2007 5:39:45 PM |

it makes them more competitively priced but still not as cheap as a dell.. but then its a much better made laptop then a dell too.
i could have got an ibm deal but got an asus instead. 10/2/2007 7:22:12 PM |

I have an X and a Z (widescreen). Love them both. The X is tight. 10/4/2007 12:03:38 PM |
