I just got these today. Apparently I have the weirdest shaped ears on the planet because these are supposed to fit everyone, but I can't get them to stay in my ears for more than 3 seconds without falling out. Anyway, my freakishly shaped ears are your gain. MSRP on these are $110. They still sell in stores for $100. Cheapest I could find online was $78 shipped.

Anywho, these are brand new right out of the box, only used for about 3 minutes. They still have the full 2 year warranty if anything craps out on them. Included is all the original packaging, the carrying case, and all the plastic molding dohickies.

I need to ask.
I have a pr of V-Moda bass response earphones..
Nice sound..but I have been curious about these earphones.
How would people here, who have used the E2c's rate sound isolation, bass response and the overall studio quality of the sound?
And would you consider the E3's to be a major or minor improvement?

i've listened through both the E2cs that i have now and a pair of E3's

you can get them both to sound about the same if you EQ it

without any processing whatsoever, though:

E2cs: more bass, highs sound a little tinnier, not quite as much mid, but sound pretty much as good/accurate as my studio monitors

E3s: less bass unless you SHOVE them into your ear, balanced mid/highs, a little better than the 2's but they're both pretty comparable.

^ I've had a pair of the E2c's for 3+ years now, and I use them all the time at the gym. Mine always stay in with no problems, I have an armband ipod holder, and I just wrap the excess cord around that, and it works out great.

And I highly recommend Shure's customer service, mine broke from daily overuse over the 2 year mark, sent mine in and they shipped me a new pair no questions asked, without receipt

Everyone I've ever heard from says they fit perfectly. I just must be a freak of nature. I couldn't get them to stay in my ears for more than a few seconds at a time.
