I'm a Philosophy major, and am required to take it. This is my last semester at NCSU, so dropping it is not an option (I'm finishing an incomplete from a prior semester to boot). Yes, it IS a very evil class...

Help?

Does anyone know if Auerbach curves for his classes. According to past stats for his LOG 201 classes, people seem to have done decent but there were a good amount of F's. I'm just curious if I should switch to credit only since today's the last day to do so. Anyone with advice please PM me. Thanks!

I'm also considering taking this class in the spring. I was told it's a great help to anyone interested in going to law school. Any advice? What's the deal with soooooo many Fs? Should I just steer clear?

elementary logic should be ALL OVER the internets.

or barnes and noble.

this stuff isnt specific to your one class. find a resource on the material written in a way you can understand and use it to supplement the lecture material.

a quick google search

found this on the first page

I don't see why everybody is hating on or fearing this class. I took a course called "PHIL 240: SYMBOLIC LOGIC" at another college, and I got an A+ on it. Anybody decent at math/science/logic/common sense should crucify that course, no matter where it is taught.
