I saw this guy on the local news a couple weeks ago...While I agree that most L.A. drivers suck, I know that most people here aren't from L.A., they just moved here at some point, so L.A. drivers aren't the sucky ones, the transplants are (like him). But nevermind all that....anyone notice one or two hypocrisies with this guy and his site?

I freely admit that most women can't drive. However, and it is agreed by most that know me, I drive like a man.

And yes, the taking pictures while driving is one hypocrisy, but there's another, more subtle one

Even funnier is that the place where that silver VW is, is about 1/4 mile from me, I'm there all the time...and unless I'm mistaken, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but given the fact that there are two lanes (i.e. one is NOT a turning lane, but a regular lane) then what I'm seeing is this chick, stopping in the middle of the road, with traffic buzzing by and she's trying to get over and the blogger is suggesting that the cars in the OTHER lane are the assholes because they aren't stopping to let her in....right?

you're certainly more familiar with the area...to me it seemed like he was suggesting some common courtesy...if the person has a turn signal on theres no need to accelerate past or somethin...i dunno

well knowing the area (like you said) I know that she's not in a turn lane, so she should continue with the flow of traffic....and traffic is indeed moving...but what she's done is stop her car completely to move lanes. Signal or not, that's not how you drive. Common courtesy is to change lanes at the flow of traffic and not stop up one lane and try (as she did) to stop up both lanes...

i'll reword - you can take pictures of bad drivers everywhere - who cares

you can ask people on the street general education questions and a decent percentage will get them wrong - late night talk shows do this - are you smarter than a 5th grader - etc
