I know Lexus and BMW hook up stuff like that, but will Mitsu? I've never had a car with a warranty until my Evo.
It has an annoying rattle coming from the dash, and a vibration you can feel through the steering wheel at 55-85 mph or so (I just had new tires mounted and balanced, and that didn't fix it). 10/4/2007 4:27:17 PM |

"Thank you for calling Mitsu Shitsu how can i help" "Yes, do you guys do loaner cars if i bring mine in for service"
"Yes, it depends on the service and how long" "No, our cars arent worth a damn, find your own way out of our dealership till we get done with your junker vehicle" 10/4/2007 4:32:25 PM |

how could that cause a vibration you could feel through the steering?
i just looked at the rotors the other day...all looked in good shape. CV joints would surprise me...only has 17.5k miles.10/5/2007 12:48:38 AM |

No.
Mitsubishi does not have a service like that.
There might be a dealer somewhere that does, but non-luxury makes generally do not hand out loaners. 10/5/2007 2:50:17 AM |

Sometimes it's dealer-specific. Even though I bought my Marauder used, I was told that since I have an extended warranty I could get a loaner if the car was in for service for longer than overnight. Wouldn't apply at any dealer other than where I bought it from though (Michael Jordan Lincoln-Mercury in Durham). 10/5/2007 10:42:20 AM |

you can just look at the rotors and think they are in good shape.
17.5K miles is enough to make some vibrations. i would def get them checked out a long with other shizzle. 10/6/2007 8:45:40 AM |

yup.. anything over one day, or sometimes if they have a car available for just one day stuff, always nice top of the line stuff. We've had TSX, MDX loaded, RDX loadded, TL and TL Type S recently, even when just in for normal service type stuff...10/6/2007 10:20:45 AM |

that's why i said cv joint. i had a joint go bad on my car with 20k on it. it also could be a bunch of other crap. i really think it's warped rotors, but i wanted to put it out there (stab in the dark).
the rattle could be a trim piece that wasn't assembled properly when it was installed.
both of those things happened in my car. never buy a honda product.
