Hi guys,
I'm trying to sell this car but I'm unsure if it carries any "classic" value yet. KBB is pricing it at @ 2K but that seems a little low imo. All the other sites that I can find that have high values on that year Saab tend to have serious upgrades like racing tires/revamped engines etc.
This is black leather, black exterior, recently replaced clutch, covered for most of its life, one owner, hatchback, 2 door, manual, sunroof, only 88K miles... I don't know what else might be relevent.
Do you think 2 grand is low-balling myself??
Any help would be appreciated! 10/9/2007 3:27:08 PM |

It wont carry any classic value but to the right Saab guy it will deff be worth more espically with the mileage. I would check around and see what they are going for on some of the Saab boards. Im sure someone here has some links.

um, definitely no classic value what so ever. 2k is a fair asking price if it's good condition and with the low mileage.
book value is only a very loose guideline to go by, and rarely an exact representation of market value. 10/9/2007 4:07:10 PM |

The SPG cars are pretty sought after and 88k is really low mileage. I wouldn't worry too much about the blue book value. Instead look at what actual SPGs are selling for on eBay, Saabnet, Craigslist, etc.
I doubt you'll have any trouble getting $2000 or more if you post it on some Saab fan forums. I'd probably go lower if it weren't the SPG, but I might actually try higher for your car if it's in good shape. 10/9/2007 4:31:11 PM |
