can you give some more info about the truck? does it need any mechanical work? any leaks or smoking? how are the tires and brakes? etc?

Everything is pretty good. If I did not get a newer truck handed down to me I would still drive it. I don't have service records, I am not the original owner. No leaks, no oil burning. Passed inspection by the state last week. I had someone come and check it out today and he said he will get back to me tomorrow. Untill then thanks for your interest.

so with 170K miles... has any sort of maintenance been done?

nissans run for a while.

but a v6 truck with 170K miles. there has got to be some sort of records from you or your dad or whoever.

and i dont mean oil changes and tire rotations.

Well its my truck. I bought it 4 years ago, I don't remember the exact miles, over 120k though. since then I have gotten the suspension worked on once, the rear anchor bolt broke. I had new brake pads put on last year, and I had a new starter put on this year. I replaced the belts when two broke this year. I have a receipt or two around here but that is all thats been done to it since I bought it. Other than that it came as is and had no other records with it.
