I format at least every 6 months. I always keep meaning to make a ghost image of a fresh install so I don't have to keep reinstalling programs and setting up shit the way I want it, but I never get around to it. I think I'm gonna try running XP in a VM on top of Ubuntu pretty soon, so that should help things. I'll just take a snapshot on a clean install and refresh that whenever shit gets too messed up.

i've always meant to use system restore or ghost but the thing is, i do sooo much shit by the time something fucks up, ghosting just sets me back so far it's not even worth the space it takes up

avg, firefox, winrar, adaware, spybot, ccleaner, daemon tools, aim, dvdshrink, nero and bitlord is usually the order i go in...first 2 are always first, the rest are in the order i remember them in
