^^^ I still don't understand that trade. I guess it had financial implications, but Grissom was a solid leadoff man, with decent power, okay glove, and a good clubhouse guy. Justice was a star at the time.
Lofton was arguably the best leadoff hitter in the game and best SB guy as well, but it still seemed like the Braves gave up too much. Maybe they were just making room for Klesko and Andruw to play. 10/12/2007 5:12:34 PM |
