well, after spending a few days on the jailbreak of my ipod touch, i have it PERFECTLY working, and ready to sell. This is a 8gb ipod touch, just got it a little over a week ago, and hacked it 2 days ago for full third-party functionality. Has "themes" you can change, and an NES emulator (with about 20 roms I put in there myself...you can find ANY game on the net and just FTP it to the phones file system (i can help you if you have problems). Also has apollo IM, for aim, works awesome...and sudoku, blackjack, and a few accelerometer-based games also. Apps like netstumbler, terminal, Finder, and navizon gps (works, tried it the other day...it works in conjunction with google maps app. simply AMAZING.
Also have google maps, stocks, weather, notes, and functional calendar all taken from the IPhone 1.1.1

this is the newest firmware ipod touch available, and it has more apps on it than ANY ipod or iphone that apple can sell you.
It is in BRAND NEW condition, not a scratch, and I am starting the bidding at $330.
DONT RISK BRICKING YOUR IPOD...buy this one with a SUCCESSFUL jailbreak and app install.

also, tons of additional thirdparty apps can be installed by tapping the "installer" icon...i just loaded it up with some of the apps i use.

here are some pics and screenshots (screenshots taken via SSH using a screenshot program i put on the pod)....you can really do EVERYTHING with one of these devices...if you know unix, you will LOVE this little bastard!

updates are optional.....when they jailbreak the new firmware (if one even comes out soon)...then it can be unlocked as well. The touch can always be restored through itunes... And you will have support fromme if there are issues. Also, this still has 20 days to return for full refund.

wait, how can you surf the internets and check email on it? this is the ipod, not the iphone, right? if so, how did you get web capability on it?

will the internet work anywhere? what about outside the US? i am just confused. how do you pay for the internet? what carrier, and how, as the ipod doesn't come with built-in hardware for web capability.

This is an Apple iPod touch, it has built in Wifi and is NOT a phone, but you can surf the web on and do pretty much anything else the phone can without the contract.

just selling it because there is a high demand for jailbroken itouchs. Gonna buy another tomorrow....
i might keep the next one, unless i can hack, sell it, and get another before apple sends updated versions out. It will likely be a while before that though.
the iphone apps really make this thing highly sought after. Gotta have an iphone to get those though. Now that i have all of the apps saved, it should make the next jailbreak much easier. No legality issues since apps are rhird party.
