They sold lunch with Warren Buffet for a ton of money. The real question is whether or not anyone is willing to pay. 10/17/2007 2:59:48 PM

actually i think they'll take it down. just cause if a dickhead authority figure got hold of it, they'd make it look like prostitution or something
there is that one site though that says what you are worth 10/17/2007 3:03:06 PM

Yes.
Last presidential election I tried to auction off my vote on ebay. After ebay took down my auction because they said it was illegal..I tried to find my ways around it. So then I auctioned off "A 15 minute conversation with me in which time you can convince me to vote for the candidate of your choice". Ebay took this down as well. Eventually the auction that they didn't pull was basically a "15 minute phone conversation". After I got several questions from various potential bidders asking if they could just pay a flat fee for phone sex, I made my sister bid high at the last minute to avoid having to actually give phone sex to some internet pervs. 10/17/2007 3:58:25 PM

so ebay has people monitoring every single auction page, that seems a little ludicrous. Wonder how they do it. Key words?
I sell a bunch of crap on ebay, and I always try to think of what the most absurd thing I could sell would be, or how I could push the limits of ebay legality.

i remember one auction a guy was selling trumpet lessons and the questions he got were if he could be a sexor or give the lessons naked
so you can sell legitimate services i believe, but it will end up sexual anyway 10/17/2007 4:21:52 PM

^^^you want phone sex? how much ya got?
^^you would think they have better things to do wouldn't you...but apparently not. And the thing was that I could see from my ip visit log when someone from ebay (corporate) would come to the link provided in the auction and like clockwork, 10 minutes later it got pulled
go to http://www.thespinzone.com/daily04.php and scroll down to 'September 1' and read up...

I just read your whole ebay epic, and more power to you. Stick it to the ebay man. I still can't believe they monitor so much ebay activity in 24 hours.
I once had my ebay account suspended for illegal activity. My roommate and I were putting auctions up, and then bidding the items up before they sold to make more money. Ebay caught on b/c like dumbasses we were using the same IP address (but different comps) to bid from. I got my ebay priviliges back and haven't done it since...... ![](images/wink.gif) 10/17/2007 4:39:00 PM
