One of my friend is coming to Raleigh in the spring and is looking to get an apartment somewhere near NCSU for 4-5 months.

I am new to the area so I don't the area very well. Any recommendations on apartments?

Looking for a single bedroom, under 600 bucks a month, somewhere within walkable distance to campus/easy bus access.

because landlords are gonna come in and pimp their own apartments. The Laounge is a more suitable section to post this in.

kensington park & ivy commons both have 1 bedrooms, and i know for sure KP is under $600. don't know if they do short leases though.

not lake park. that's my only recommendation.
