I'm glad I saw this thread because I totally would have thought the platypus was one of those animals that is safe to mess with.

And I'm not sure how you can hate on Australia so much without mentioning Africa. I mean, seriously, WTF is an elephant? It's like a giant monster that loves to trample people. And everywhere else they had cats that you could keep as pets, but in Africa they needed gigantic cats that can maul people? Saltwater crocodiles, hippos, and the black mamba snake pretty much seal the deal on Africa as far as I'm concerned. Africa is like someone was playing Jumanji and lost.
