ive looked at the other directv threads and havent seen what im looking for

if youre setting up the service and it says "no locals" does that mean you dont get cbs, nbc, abc, fox period or just not the ones for the area where you are

no locals means you aren't getting anything.. not even the national networks (like WABC, WCBS, etc)

where do you live? raleigh has all locals in HD on directv now.

if you get no locals, you can call customer service and talk them into letting you get national networks. only other option is an off-air antenna.
