mine constantly thinks its charging, so unless it is hooked up to a charger it dies, and takes hours to charge up enough to use

^ you should probably get that fixed, if it's under warranty.

Make sure it's not a software issue too, I would recommend backing it up and doing a restore.

i have never had any issues with mp3 players from Creative
my little ZEN nano is an awesome digital recorder, fm radio and mp3 player
have had it for about 2 years now and i love the lil fella

well, your zen nano is probably flash. the hard drive on any mp3 player will add a lot of potential for problems every now and then

^ mine is flash too...it has frozen before...and the reset thing doesn't work either...it's like it doesn't want to recognize that you are holding down the pause button...I can push play and pause it, but it's like it won't recognize that I am holding the button down

My nano has problems from time to time.... Ususally let battery run out then recharge, but sometimes I need to use differing USB ports and such..... I like creative products alot better....Also iRiver products have been fantastic.
