...will not play in color...only black and white...My dad was watching a movie, then turned it off...then turned it back on to finish the movie and it was all of a sudden in black and white...

1. not the TV...cableTV plays in color
2. not the DVD...DVD player also plays other movies in black and white
3. can't test the cable...don't have another

don't know what else to check...
