I just don't like their texture when trying to inject the cotton. They're harder to grasp. 10/25/2007 8:49:54 PM

Personally, plastic is slicker than cardboard and I don't really want to get blood because my fingers accidentally slipped into my massive vagina.

you really shouldn't flush cardboard applicators.... it might be biodegradable, but if it clogs up the pipes (esp in a house where they are small) you might have to wait a while for it to biodegrade and get the fuck out of the way
also, all the solids in wastewater have to be filtered out which requires energy and chemicals and increases your water costs ------ then it gets landfilled anyway
i thought about trying the diva cup thing but i am afraid it could fail catastrophically or something
for now i use plastic applicators lol... they don't hurt
[Edited on October 25, 2007 at 9:07 PM. Reason : they should at least design a reusable plastic applicator that you "load" with non bleached tampons.] 10/25/2007 9:06:08 PM
